DAY 1
Arrival at Budapest or Debrecen international airport. Transfer to Kisköre. Meet the boatmaster and your holiday boats. Whilst driving license is not required, you have to take part on the 1-1.5 hours training before leaving the harbor. Boating to Sarud, the small village located on the Northern shore of Lake Tisza. You can experience that holiday boats are surprisingly easy to sail even if you never tried before. Let the adventure started with tasting world-famous Hungarian Pálinka and the treasures of Lake Tisza’s gastronomy in Sulyom Landscape Restaurant, a high-quality rural slow food bistro with cuisine based on products of local farmers. Overnight stay in holiday boats.
DAY 2
Discover the second largest lake of Hungary with thousands of islands, fabulous backwaters, jungle-like forests and huge basins during your 4-5 hours boating trip, then transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Hortobágy, the largest grassy steppe in Central Europe. Enjoy the unique astro-gastro experience with horse-drawn carriage ride, grazing grey cattles, flowing racka flock, cooling buffalos in muddy lake and amazing horsemen show presenting the perfect harmony between animals and men. When the night falls, taste the traditional meals of sheperds prepared in iron-pots, under the starry sky and admire the undisturbed view of the Milky Way and the Zodiacal Light. Hortobágy is the least affected area by light pollution in the whole of Hungary, so star-watching is guaranteed to be unforgettable. Overnight stay in the Hungarian Puszta, on straw bales in the companion of horsemen.
DAY 3
Breakfast with the horsemen, then transfer to Sarud. After morning boating, bathing and sunbathing change your holiday boats to electric bikes and head Poroszló for tasting the best artisan cheeses of the region at Füzes Cheese Manufactory and visiting the Ecocenter with the largest freshwater aquarium system in Europe. Take a break and enjoy the unmissible traditional Hungarian fish soup in a typical ’csárda’ on the shore of Lake Tisza. Overnight stay in holiday boats.
DAY 4
Boating back to Kisköre. Transfer to the airport.
